Trick Or Treating - The Main Event

 

Sam in the pre-game showing off all his current Sam-ness. Running around, with no pants, somehow toting a gourd and a fridge magnet. Whose child is this and will they please come back and retrieve him? He is wrecking havoc in our house! And now..... drum roll please......

   

After a month of planning to be Sleeping Beauty - NO! Alice is Tinkerbell on Halloween night (and really, thank goodness. you'll see why in a minute). And YAY - No rain! No coats! Nice weather!

   

Two people asked me if Sam was an axe murderer, but more people recognized that he was a lumberjack

   

Off with her posse for Trick or Treating (or as Alice now loves to say, "Trick or TOM Treat-ing..."

   

Sam enjoyed observing the "big kids" running like crazy people from house to house Video of the pack of children that Sam enjoyed watching. Much confusion at this house in particular because the kids got ahead of us and were just pounding on the door like little banshees but nobody was home. Alice yelled "Here we goooooooo!" after every house they visited (you can hear it on the video)

   

   

Do you see the stairs workout involved in our neighborhood? I'm so glad she didn't wear the full-length princess gown. It would have been impossible to get her up and down all those stairs!

   

After trick or treating and a little pizza dinner Alice was very enchanted to "sell" candy to the other kids. We tried to explain that we weren't selling, just giving it away. She continued to tell people that we were selling candy
