Many of you know that Wed, Feb 11, Lach had an appendectomy. His appendix acutally ruptured, but they removed it very quickly.
Little did we know that this was just the beginning of our February healthcare trevails.
The surgery left Lach sore, unable to lift the kids, and working from home in sweatpants for a week.
Friday, Feb 20, Alice came down with pinkeye (likely from preschool)
Saturday, Feb 22, Beth came down with some kind of pinkeye / eye infection
Later on Saturday Alice woke up from a nap SOBBING about how much her ear hurt - a double ear infection (thank you for being open CVS Minute Clinic)
And today, Wed, Feb 25, Lach just took Sam to the doctor. Sam has double pinkeye and an ear infection.
Why did Lach take him to the doctor? Because two weeks later, Lach is still not feeling great. He continues to work from home....
So many thanks to everyone for the expressions of concern and emails. I know I haven't been great about responding - things have just been crazy trying to look after all the various medical ailments.
