The band broke out into an "instrument petting zoo" where Alice got to play the bass drum

We saw some great marching and performance by the band
Alice tried her hand at baton twirling (not bad!)
Sam mostly just observed the instruments while clutching his new football

very appropriate that they're both dressed in wildcat purple!
and very impressive baton twirling -- that's definitely better than i could ever do, or could probably do now.
