Taking Alice to the Nutcracker ballet. I knew she was enjoying it because while sitting on my lap she started imitating the ballerinas' arms on stage, waving hers all about and smacking me in the face. While also whispering, "MOMMY! I KNOW THOSE ARM POSITIONS!"
When I told her the show was almost over, she said "I don't want it to ever end".
And to prove her point, Alice went to bed that night wearing her ballet slippers and skirt.
