I am Sam

Sam wrote his name!! I am in shock, since the child really never draws, colors, or picks up a writing utensil of any kind. But 2 weeks ago he started in a park district preschool class (it was $75 for 3 months, M-W-F). I had no learning expectations, I just wanted him out of the house for a couple of hours since he won't nap anymore. But ta-da!! They have to practice tracing letters at preschool, and look what Sam came home and demonstrated:

Sure it's backwards, written as M - A - S, but all preschoolers do that.... Genius!
