6 pm Tues. Hmmm - snow in the attic after 3 hours. Not a good result for the new roof!
8:45 a.m. Wed. Good morning! Sam is up and ready to help shovel.
The house. Under snow.
Brave husband starts digging out.
9 a.m. Kiera came over (from 4 doors down) and the girls headed out to play.
And then the snow really picked up

Lach's jeans post-shoveling
Throw a blanket over the dining room table - buys you at least an hour of entertainment!

1 pm. Snow stops. Sun emerges. Kids bundle up after lunch.
Opening the garage door - the wall of snow stacked 1 foot high against it.
Our neighbor's pile in the alley - cleared their garage, but piled snow to the top of their fence.

Venturing out to visit friends.

The faux-sledding-hill constructed in Timmy's backyard
Woo hoo!! Worked just fine for us!

12 kids. 1 tiny hill. All good.

4 p.m. Walking home we stopped to climb snow mountain. (that's Sam on top)

Hmmm - red truck spinning wheels. Green truck behind it trying to gently bump it to move forward. Not working too well from what I can tell.

Whee!

This SUV stuck and abandoned halfway across the intersection. How are the plows ever going to get through?

Unlike some photos, this is a GREAT representation of how we feel about snowmageddon, sledding and school snow days!! More, please!
Alice goes for a final flop in the front yard!
