I suppose this post should correctly by titled, "How to Cook a Turkey, by Alice T.".
I assume they were teaching that stories have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Walking away from school today Alice told me about her writing the recipe for how to cook a turkey:
"First, buy a dead turkey at the store.
Second, put some spices on it like Cilantro, Basil, and Peppermint.
Then put it in the oven at like 80 degrees.
Last, take it out of the oven and put some pepper on it.
Is that right, Mom?"
