"Antimacassar" ..... Alice's new word for "new word" day at school. (part of a countdown to the end of school. "N" day is "New word" day. We are working towards Z.)
Don't you remember knowing the word "Antimacassar" in first grade? What? You have no idea what that word means even today? As a grown up adult?
She found it in "The Mouse and the Motorcycle" by Beverly Cleary. THAT you probably do remember.
