Up up up

Friday's outing took us on the L train down to the Sears Tower (looking up 110 stories from the sidewalk)

Looking out at the Shedd Aquarium and Field Museum that we already visited this week

Downtown Chicago

103 stories up in the air

Then it was time for the kids to step out onto the Ledge.  Yes, a glass box sticking out from the top of the building 1,353 feet in the air.  Look at those building beneath their feet!

Alice leaning against the glass.  That is the real city out there, not a back drop

The box from a side angle, in case you are having trouble imagining this

Then it was off for lunch!  (this photo could also be called "Kids who wore the wrong shoes and have sore feet" )

Where could we be?
Lach's tiny space

At last, the train ride home

I may have to show Joe that pic of Alice leaning against the glass just to give him heart palpitations.

Wow! Huge office, Lach!!

Looks like a wonderful day. That "Ledge" is WAY to scary for me. You kids are brave.
