I'm sure you heard about the Chicago Teacher's Union strike in September?
In case you were curious what Alice did with those 7 days off school.....
Day 1 - Raspberry picking and farm visit with Isabelle, Ryland, Axl, Sophie and Charlotte
Day 2 - Trip to the very empty Montrose beach with Kiera, Chloe & Colin
Days 3 & 4 - Wishcraft art camp
Day 5 - Day with Mom. Shopping, lunch, haircut
Day 6 - Sam refuses to go to school since Alice is staying home so much! Playing in PJs until 11 a.m.
Then strike lunch at Hot Doug's
Spending allowance money at Target (their request).
Day 7 - Morning craft, cook, and learn program at the church down the street.
WHEW! Finally, back to school on September 19th!

Awesome strike vacation (for the kids!!) Love Alice's hair style, so grown up. And the race car bed rocks. I wouldn't get up either.....
