Possibly in my top 3 moments of her whole life - watching Alice learn to ride a bicycle this week! The chain came off her little bike, which required taking off the training wheels to repair. Alice suggested maybe we should just leave off the training wheels, and she would give it a try as a 2-wheeler. With only 3 or 4 days practice - look how great she is doing!?! It is absolutely amazing to me. And very heartwarming, because people walking down the street or working in their yards will call out and cheer her on. It's like the whole community is watching her pass this milestone. So sweet. Such a big girl!
Why is Lach in all the photos? Because I help Alice get started, and then she does much better when she has something ahead of her to focus on (i.e. chasing Daddy) rather than staring down at the bike itself. When she's peddling and steady, I let go and she tries to catch him!
