After Lach returned from Sydney, and the kids returned from 3 days in Missouri, we took a Friday morning during spring break to venture down to Hyde Park to visit the Museum of Science and Industry. This was a follow-up to me taking the kids solo one day in February.
We explored the coal mine! Much easier to wait 30 minutes when you have 2 parents available to entertain the children. They thought it was pretty cool to go down underground in the dark! Alice was a superstar "Minor miner" as the guide called them, and even answered a safety question correctly.
Sam was in heaven watching the miniature train. I think we could have just left him at that exhibit all morning and he wouldn't have moved.
