Goodbye to the kids' favorite Washington site! They loved the fact that you can see the Monument from anywhere and they kept spotting it over and over again. Thanks Lara & Mike for being awesome hosts!!
I wondered during the week, how much of the stuff we are seeing or doing is registering with Alice? She surprised me. The very first thing Alice did when we got home was pull out the construction paper and create this American flag on her own.
