Thursday morning Lara agreed to play sheriff for all 3 boys...
...so that Alice and I could head out for our White House adventure (see other post). We dressed up to convey the sense of "special event".
The boys romped and played at a darling sprinkler playground
Tyler and Sam negotiate over a bucket
Sam showed off his climbing prowess
Cam showed off his cuteness prowess
Until Lara removed Ty and Cam to safer equipment
No matter the city, Sam wants to sell you ice cream at the playground
Later that day, we went for a real gelato outing....
On this bench Sam looked around and said, "This is a good picnic, guys". And Alice decided she would like to go to college in DC because Lara said she can come over for dinner anytime. Thanks for the fabulous DC tees Lara & Mike!
Num num. Lara thought the boys didn't yet understand ice cream and wouldn't care what they were missing. That phase is clearly over! They were quite insistent on sharing. IMMEDIATELY.
Back at the ranch, Alice taught Ty and Cam that band-aids are nothing to be scared of
And Tyler lost the tickle game!
