Monday's Excursion

Monday was going to be 95 degrees (35 C), so we needed something to do with air conditioning

 Thus, an outing to the Field Museum!

 I love the Great Hall of the museum.  It's so beautiful.

 We saw mummies from ancient Egypt.

We saw the evolution of Earth and a giant sloth.

In the afternoon the girls played in the basement and built a magnificent zoo out of Littlest Pet Shop  (matching shirts for my tour of the zoo)
